Technology in Action - Success!

The first Eye Connect - Technology in Action was a huge success! We had more than 100 participants and most appeared to be engaged and enthusiastic about the possibilities. As I said at the workshop, this is the first event we have tried using the scenario driven format. As a participant, your feedback is vital to the development of future events of this type. Please CLICK HERE and compete the short post event survey. The survey is anonymous so please respond freely. Information collected from this survey will help us provide more responsive and useful Technology in Action workshops in the future.

Special thanks to this years exhibitors; FreedomScientific, CSVR, Emerald Coast Vision Aids, and E. H. Gentry Technical Facility. Also, other participating organizations including National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Mobile chapter, Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services, and Jessica Edminston, Director, Birmingham Regional Center and Project Coordinator, Alabama Initiative for Children and Youth who are Deaf-Blind.

Thanks again for participating. I look forward to seeing you at future events.
