The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, (AIDB) Mobile Regional Center in Mobile, Alabama is conducting a first of its kind technology awareness activity. “Eye Connect - Technology in Action,” is an interactive, hands-on workshop for people with nonstandard eyesight, family members, community agencies, and the community at large.
All demonstrations and hands-on interactions will be centered around real world, scenario driven activities. Come and see how people with vision loss, or those with combined vision and hearing loss can use the latest digital and innovative technologies to adapt and effectively perform everyday tasks at home, at work, and in school.
